Any question a customer asks is a chance to put the product in her hands.

Every time a customer asked an associate the price of something, the associate never answered the question without bringing the product out of the case, putting it on a pad, and getting it to the customer’s hands. I wrote about it last week, and I’ll say it again, the more you engage customers with the product, the more likely they are to buy. Never, ever, miss a chance to hand the customer either a product or something related to a product.
